Chicago-Based Commercial Real Estate PR Firm Names New SVP

Akrete, an award-winning, national public relations, content development and marketing firm headquartered in Evanston, Illinois, has appointed John Pappas as senior vice president.

Pappas will lead client service strategy and delivery for several key financial services and commercial real estate clients with a focus on developing thought leadership, messaging, media strategy, media training, and content marketing programs. He will be based in Philadelphia and play an integral role in building new client relationships in the firm’s core focus industries of financial services, commercial real estate, and professional services.

Pappas has more than 20 years of experience in public relations, communications, and content marketing. Before joining Akrete, he served as Director of Financial Communications at Ferguson. Akrete’s clients include JLL, KeyBank, Hines, and BGO, and others. The firm is ranked third in the nation among independent public relations agencies specializing in real estate investment and development.
