Chevron Phillips Moving into New Woodlands Digs

While Building 3 in the Research Forest Lakeside office campus in The Woodlands won’t be completed until 2025, Chevron Phillips Chemical Co. is busy making plans to move 886 workers to the new global headquarters. The new offices will consist of 324,000 square feet and are estimated to cost $60 million. The Houston Business Journal reports the group’s current headquarters is two miles away at a 200,000-square-foot office complex south of The Woodlands Waterway.

Chevron and Phillips joined forces to form the alliance in 2000 and oversees a number of chemical plants worldwide, three in Texas. In the Houston area, it operates chemical manufacturing facilities in Baytown, Pasadena and Brazoria County.
