Chestnut Hill Expands Brookline’s Hancock Village with New Delivery

Locally based Chestnut Hill Realty has delivered The Franklin, a 250-unit apartment building in the Hancock Village development in Brookline, MA. With move-ins expected to begin this fall, the new addition expands Hancock Village to 1,300 units.

As envisioned by Chestnut Hill Realty founder and CEO Ed Zuker, the project’s goal has been to create a range of quality apartment home options for individuals, couples and families. Located at 201 Sherman Rd., The Franklin has designated 20% of its residences as affordable.

“We are proud to introduce the Franklin building as part of our planned expansion of Hancock Village and ongoing goal of increasing quality housing options in the Boston area,” said Zuker. “This milestone underscores our commitment to addressing the critical housing shortage and ensuring that Hancock Village proudly continues its nearly 80-year tradition as one of the area’s most vibrant apartment home communities, where residents easily enjoy the opportunity to combine home, work and leisure.”
