Chatham Apartment Assets Change Hands

Marcus & Millichap has arranged the sale of 700 E. 81st St. and 8055 S. Langley Ave. in the South Side’s Chatham neighborhood. The assets, which have a combined total of 25 units, were sold together for $1.1 million.

James Ziegler, a first VP investments, and KJ Zelenika, an associate, both of Marcus & Millichap’s Chicago Downtown office, had the exclusive listing to market the properties on behalf of the undisclosed seller. The pair also represented the buyer in the transaction.

The properties are located within blocks of the major retail and shopping corridor on 79th Street. Residents have access to restaurants and shopping centers within walking distance, as well as to the greater Chicagoland area via nearby Interstates and public transportation.
