Chase Will Open Bank Branch at Silverback’s LIC Condos

Chase Bank will open a new retail location at the base of HERO LIC, the new luxury residential condominium by Silverback Development in Long Island City. The 3,697-square-foot commercial space has been leased for a 10-year term.

HERO LIC, located at 24-16 Queens Plaza South, Long Island City, is comprised of 109 residential units and one ground-floor commercial unit. The property was previously a five-story office building, and Silverback constructed 17 stories atop the existing structure.

The owner of the existing five-story structure, the Kirsch Family headed by Roy Kirsch, retained ownership of the commercial unit. Silverback Development has since substantially completed development of the project, obtaining TCO for all residential units as well as the commercial space in December 2019.

Roy Kirsch represented the landlord in this transaction, while Chase Bank was advised by NKF’s Hymie Dweck.
