Chase Bank Moving El Paso HQ
Chase Bank, which has made its headquarters at 201 E. Main St. in downtown El Paso for years, is relocating to the Anson Mills Building. The bank will move its El Paso executive offices and downtown branch in September, when its lease at its current location expires.
The bank’s new headquarters destination will be the Mills Building at 303 N. Oregon St. The 12-story, 105-year-old Mills Building was renovated several years ago, and provides Chase with an opportunity to have a ground floor, as well as updated technology. The Chase sign, which tops its current location, will be placed on the adjacent Mills parking garage. Signs can’t be placed on the Mills Building because of its historic designation.
Borderplex Realty Trust, which owns 201 E. Main, is working with a new tenant to backfill the space.
