Charney, Tavros Launch Leasing at Dime Savings Bank Tower

Leasing has launched at The Dime, a 23-story terra-cotta and glass tower architecturally intertwined with the landmarked 1908 Dime Savings Bank in Brooklyn’s South Williamsburg. Jointly developed by Charney Companies and Tavros Holdings, The Dime offers 177 rental apartments in a five-story podium at the property’s base, along with office and retail space.

“We’re proud of The Dime, from its architectural design to its efficient and modern living spaces, to the carefully thought-out amenities that will foster a balanced lifestyle,” said Charney Companies founder Sam Charney.

“We think now more than ever, residents will especially appreciate the abundance of private outdoor space, totaling over an acre with plenty of room to socially distance. It affords great opportunities to garden, grill, exercise and enjoy the fresh air, all set against the beautiful backdrop of the Williamsburg Bridge,” he added.

A virtual, no-contact leasing program led by Douglas Elliman Development Marketing is now underway.
