Charlotte Skyline Adds $330M Barings HQ Tower

300 South Tryon, a 25-story, Class A office tower anchored by global asset management firm Barings, is now open in Charlotte, NC. The $330 million project was developed by The Spectrum Companies, and is owned by Barings on behalf of its parent company, MassMutual.

“300 South Tryon is a reflection of Charlotte’s growth and success, and we are thrilled to call it our home,” said Barings’ Tom Finke. “As our global headquarters, this investment also reflects Barings’ belief in the future of this community.”

The 638,000-square-foot property spans the width of a city block, and includes the office building and adjoining Kimpton Tryon Park Hotel. It features a separate French restaurant, a coffee shop, and is targeted for LEED GOLD design standards. Barings occupies the top third of the new office tower.
