Panorama Holdings says they are just days away from starting work on a 434-unit rental community in Charlotte. Construction will take about two-and-a-half years.

The Charlotte Business Journal reports the Panorama Falcon is projected to cost about $160 million and will consist of two midrise buildings with studio, one-, and two-bedroom market-rate units. The project will offer amenities like a pool, fitness center and common areas.

The 5-acre site at 2211 W. Morehead St. in Ashley Park is near the future Silver Line light rail.

Samet is the general contractor, Orsborn Design Group is the project engineer, and Vignette is the interior designer.

Panorama has developed two other multifamily communities in Charlotte, Blue at Northline and Lumeo. The firm is also the developer behind Panorama Tower (photo), a 17-story office building in Ballantyne that was delivered in 2021. The development includes an 186-room AC Marriott hotel and 120,000 square feet of Class A office space.
