Charles Schwab Planning to Expand — Again

Charles Schwab is planning to more than double the size of its regional headquarters on the Circle T Ranch, a development in Westlake, TX. The financial giant recently filed plans with the town to build an additional 617,000 square feet on its 70-acre office campus near State Highways 114 and 170 in the Fort Worth suburb. The space, split across two buildings, could hold thousands of workers.

The San Francisco-headquartered firm begin construction on its first phase, a $100-million, 500,000-square-foot development, which will include two office buildings, an amenities building with a café and a large meeting space and training center. The initial phase is scheduled for completion in early 2019.

All told, both developments could hold from 6,000-7,000 employees, making Schwab one of the largest employers north of Fort Worth.
