Chargers Training Facility in El Segundo Takes Shape

The Gensler Sports-designed LA Chargers training facility is now fully under construction, as girders from the 145,000-square-foot main building rise into the El Segundo, CA sky. Developed by Continental Development Corp and Mar Ventures, Inc., the $270 million complex is expected to be completed in Spring 2024.

Located on 14 acres just east of El Segundo Boulevard, the practice facility and headquarters campus of the NFL team will feature offices, a hospitality club, eSports gaming and content studios plus a 3,100-square-foot media center. Plans also call for three natural grass fields with seating for 5,000 spectators and a parking lot for nearly 350 vehicles.

According to Urbanize LA, Continental and Mar Ventures are connected to a several mixed-use and office developments in El Segundo, including a housing project on Pacific Coast Highway and an office campus on Rosecrans Avenue.
