Chargers’ San Diego Stadium Issues Persist
The San Diego Chargers are just not having much luck finding a home in San Diego County, which could make the team’s move to the Los Angeles area.
The Chargers have made nine different proposals for new stadiums around the county since 2003, and none of them have been successful as of yet. It also hasn’t helped that San Diego, which wants the team to build in the city, has had seven different mayors since the Chargers have looked for a new home.
The team has explored options everywhere from Chula Visat to Oceanside, but nothing has come to fruition. Now it looks like more of a reality that it could move to Los Angeles County after the team backed out of a redevelopment of its current Qualcomm Stadium site.
