Chances for Children, LIFT Sign 65K-SF Leases at Bronx
OPEN Impact Real Estate has facilitated two long-term lease agreements for nonprofits, LIFT and Chances for Children, at 412-424 East 147th St. in the Bronx.
LIFT, focusing on breaking the poverty cycle through parent empowerment, secured a five-year lease for 3,500 square feet on the fifth floor. Chances for Children, dedicated to promoting child well-being and development, signed a 10-year lease for 3,000 square feet on the fourth floor. The space will be tailored to their needs, providing areas for therapy sessions, administrative offices, and client-facing interactions.
Alexander Smith and Kendall Elliott represented LIFT, while Alexander Smith and Kate Whitman represented Chances for Children. Jesse Rubens of JLR Realty Inc., represented the landlord, 147 Corp. “Lift and Chances for Children needed a professional space to expand their in-person services for young children and parents—and wanted to be in an accessible building with like-minded nonprofit tenants close to the families it serves,” said Alexander Smith of OPEN.
