Champs Sports Leases at Times Sq.

Champs Sports, a division of Foot Locker Inc., will open a new store in two-stories of retail space at 10 Times Square, a 550,000-square-foot office tower in Midtown Manhattan.

The space has more than a hundred feet of frontage on both floors, and signage opportunities visible from the heart of the square.

“The building is in the final stages of a major renovation that includes a new curtain wall on the lower floors, nearly 46,000 square feet of prime retail space, and a new state-of-the-art office lobby to be unveiled in the coming months,” said Steve Anderson, CEO of building owner Lechar Realty. JLL represented Lechar in the transaction.

The 38-story tower, also known as 1441 Broadway, was designed by Buchman & Kahn and constructed in 1930.
