CF Industries Relocates Headquarters to Northbrook

CF Industries has signed a long-term, 77,863-square-foot lease at 1 Astellas Way, a 432,000-square-foot office complex in Northbrook, IL, for its corporate headquarters. The company, a leading global manufacturer of hydrogen and nitrogen products, will occupy two floors and is expected to relocate from 4 Parkway N. in Deerfield before the end of 2023.

Transwestern EVP Kyle Robbins, executive managing director Andrew Davidson and EVP David Burkards are providing office leasing services for the building. The complex, managed by Transwestern, will be renamed 2375 Waterview Dr. in April.

“Coming out of the pandemic, there has been a flight to quality,” said Robbins. “A tenant signing a long-term lease in such a notable building is a testament to the fact that businesses care about the office, especially high-quality environments that will attract employees back to in-person work and encourage collaboration.”

CF Industries was represented by JLL’s Daniel McCarthy and Sophia Spinell.
