Century City’s Anderson Towers Refinanced for $550M

Family-owned real estate development and management company Anderson Real Estate has completed a $550-million refinancing of Anderson Towers, its 98.1% leased, two-building office campus located at 1800 and 1900 Ave. of the Stars in Century City. The transaction represents the latest milestone in Anderson’s multi-year repositioning of Anderson Towers, which has included more than $300 million in capital improvements.

“We’ve invested in Anderson Towers because we believe deeply in the long-term strength of Century City and in creating office environments that will continue to attract leading companies to Los Angeles,” said Matt Lavin, executive chairman of Anderson Real Estate. “The leasing success we have achieved across the campus has validated that conviction.”

Wells Fargo served as primary lender and servicer, with JPMorgan Chase as secondary lender. Eastdil Secured Savills arranged the financing on behalf of Anderson. Allen Matkins represented Anderson, while Hogan Lovells Cadwalader represented the lenders.
