Centurion American Acquires 52 Acres, Plans MXU City Point

Developer Centurion American recently acquired 52 acres in North Richland Hills, TX, on the site of the former North Hills Mall. The Farmers Branch, TX owner is earmarking the acreage for City Point, a master-planned, mixed-use development that will include residences and a commercial district.

Located on Grapevine Highway (at Boulevard 26 and Rodger Line Drive), City Point will offer approximately 370 single-family homes, 400 multifamily units, an upscale hotel and 70,000 square feet of commercial space. The five-to seven-year buildout will take place in phases, with initial construction anticipated to begin this year.

Centurion is currently in discussion with builders concerning the project’s residential portfolio, as well as with restaurants to anchor the commercial space.
