Centrally Located Hotel Headed for Auction

Best Western Plus Sunset Suites Riverwalk faces foreclosure, following California-based Gosla Family Trust’s default on a $5 million loan.

The four-story San Antonio hotel, assessed last year at $5.2 million by the Bexar Appraisal District, includes structures built in 1890 and 2001, totaling roughly 50,000 square feet.

Located near I-37 at Commerce and Chestnut streets in the neighborhood of St. Paul Square, the hotel is situated in an area starting to undergo new development.

A foreclosure auction is scheduled for June 6.
