Central Texas Tracts to Hold Two New Hotels

NewQuest Properties sold two tracts at its 196-acre, mixed-use Stone Hill Town Center in separate transactions to different franchisees of international hospitality chains. Ground is expected to break in early 2018 on an 86-key Holiday Inn Express and a Tru by Hilton, the first one to be developed in Central Texas. The Holiday Inn Express will be situated on two acres, while a four-story Tru by Hilton will go up on 1.83 acres fronting Town Center Drive.

Stone Hill Town Center is on Limestone Commercial Drive in Pflugerville, TX, northeast of Austin. Josh Friedlander and Rebecca Le of NewQuest Properties represented the seller in the direct deals.

The mixed-use retail center, situated at State Highway 45 and 130, holds one-million-square feet of retail space and apartments. The hotels will be situated between the 185,334-square-foot Super Target and the Mansions at Stone Hill, a project with more than 400 luxury apartments.
