Central Market Snags Oak Cliff Land, Eyeing Opportunities

Dallas-based Central Market acquired land on West Davis Street and North Beckley Avenue in Dallas’ Oak Cliff neighborhood. The specialty grocer is a division of San Antonio-headquartered H-E-B. While no firm plans are in place for development of the property, a spokeswoman for Central Market/H-E-B indicated that the purchase was made with a Central Market store in mind.

J. Scott Lake and Jake Milner with Davidson Bogel Real Estate represented Central Market in the transaction from seller Crescent Communities. The sales price was undisclosed.

The land is across the street from Crescent Bishop Arts, a mixed-use project that will offer 302 rental units and 23,000 square feet of street-level retail and restaurant space. The area is just south of downtown Dallas.
