CenterPoint Acquires 20-Acre Industrial Infill Site for $76M
CenterPoint Properties has purchased a 20-acre South Seattle industrial site for $76 million in a deal arranged by Kidder Mathews Executive VP Chris Corr and Senior VP Matt Murray. According to Kidder, the transaction was the biggest land sale in South Seattle this year.
“This is a dynamic site, unrivaled in the Seattle market for its sheer size, configuration, high visibility and capacity for hundreds of vehicles,” said CenterPoint’s JP Perez. “In this infill location, port and last-mile users are desperate for parking and outdoor storage, especially on the scale this property can accommodate.”
With yard in high demand, the property is a trophy asset as the largest yard to scale in the area. It is situated between Highways 99 and 509, and is only 6 miles from the Port of Seattle. CenterPoint has retained Kidder Mathews as the leasing agents for the new property.
