Centennial Bank Provides $10M Construction Loan for Tru by Hilton in Miramar

Centennial Bank has furnished a $10-million construction loan to bring a Tru by Hilton hotel to Miramar, FL.

The loan provides Tru at Miramar, LLC, managed Dania Beach, FL-based DP Hotels, the ability to develop a 97-unit, 46,334-square-foot property on SW 27th Way in southern Broward County. DP Hotels previously purchased the 1.9-acre vacant site from Progressive Casualty Insurance Co.

The development team has enlisted Coastal Choice Construction as the general contractor for the project.

The Tru by Hilton brand is the Hilton’s “Millennial” focused concept, which offers guests a “simplified and spirited approach, grounded in value for both business and leisure.” hotel will include an outdoor pool, expansive conference room, multifunctional fitness center, light meal options, a 97-spot parking lot and fast Wi-Fi. The future hotel shares a corporate presence with Spirit Airlines, United Data Technologies, ADT and Fanatics offices just a few miles away.
