Cedars-Sinai Hitting Playa Vista Runway

Medical office and retail are merging in Playa Vista. Cedars-Sinai will anchor three floors above the Lincoln Property Co.’s Runway retail project, encompassing 32,000 square feet.

Runway will also be home to nearly 200,000 square feet of retail that includes CVS, Starbucks and a Whole Foods Market, as well as 420 residential units. CBRE represented Cedars, whose facility will have about 24 physicians who specialize in a variety of practices.

The area is becoming a hotbed of tech leasing, with several big names opening offices. Runway was formerly the home of Howard Hughes’ Hughes Aircraft.
