Cedar Park, RedLeaf Teaming Up on Downtown Development Plan

The city of Cedar Park, in partnership with RedLeaf, a development firm, is working to build the Bell District, a 54-acre mixed-use project off Bell Boulevard.

Community Impact reports from 2015 to 2018, the city began assembling property totaling a little over 50 acres. That is now the Bell District. The district’s master plan includes the new city library, the backyard—an area with a playground, lawn and events—multifamily units, retail shops and dining, and office space.

Public parking garages will be built within some of the residential and retail buildings. Once fully developed, the development will have 1,200-1,500 apartments.

The next vertical construction is expected to start mid-next year, 2025, and it’s an 18-24 month build-out. The town and developer anticipate a 2027 opening. The full build-out of Phase 1 is expected to be completed within five to seven years.
