CBT Taps Richard Kuhn as Principal in Boston
International design firm CBT has announced the hiring of Richard Kuhn as principal in the firm’s Boston office. Kuhn brings to the firm more than three decades of design experience, which spans a broad range of building typologies across sectors including the higher education, life science, cultural, civic and commercial office markets.
In his new role, Kuhn will expand CBT’s design reach and build upon their client base across their many areas of practice. Kuhn will work to elevate the design culture among CBT’s professional team. Prior to joining the firm, Kuhn served as a Principal and the Design Director for Perkins + Will in Boston where he oversaw the design of numerous major projects ranging from public libraries and university campus centers to residence halls and medical centers.
“Architecture is an illustrious, inspired art form which is continually evolving, shaped by new technology, interdisciplinary partnerships and social necessity. CBT has long served as a powerhouse design firm in Boston, paving the way for new innovations and creative solutions to meet the needs of its diverse clientele,” said Kuhn. “Strong, effective collaboration is the key to success in any good design, and I look forward to working alongside CBT’s talented teams to deliver future engaging projects in Greater Boston and beyond.”
