CBRE’s Stingley Closes Two KC Apartment Deals Totaling $104M
CBRE arranged the sale of two Class A multifamily properties in suburban Kansas City totaling $104 million. The 292-unit Copper Ridge Apartments and 306-unit Brighton Creek Apartments sold in separate transactions to buyers that were each making their initial entry into the Kansas City market.
Jeff Stingley, an EVP in CBRE’s Kansas City office, represented the sellers in both sales, together with associates Max Helgeson and Michael Spero. Although individual sale terms were not disclosed, the buyers are described as national private equity.
“Kansas City is one of the nation’s fastest-growing tech markets and our white-collar job growth is among the best in the nation,” said Stingley. “Downtown Kansas City’s $10- billion renaissance is helping to lure more corporate relocations to the metro, and the new $2-billion airport will only help to assist the flow of capital into the market in coming years.”
