CBRE’s Steve Lewis to Lead New SH Valuation & Advisory Services

CBRE has appointed long-time company leader Steve Lewis to take on the leadership of the firm’s newly created student housing practice for Valuation & Advisory Services. In his new role, Lewis will coordinate and develop a team of valuation and advisory specialists across the U.S. He will operate out of CBRE’s Houston office.

Lewis joined CBRE in 1998. During his tenure, he has overseen the firm’s student housing practice in the south-central region, working in 25 student/university housing markets. His responsibilities also include real estate appraisal, feasibility studies, rent analyses, and market studies of retail, office, industrial, multifamily residential projects for clients in the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri and Kansas.

Prior to joining CBRE, Lewis worked with Bank of America. He received his undergraduate degree in finance from the University of Texas-Austin, and obtained his masters in Real Estate and Finance from Texas A&M University.
