CBRE’s Latessa Named to Inaugural Daniel Burnham Fellowship
John Latessa, president of CBRE’s Midwest Division, was recently named to the inaugural class of Leadership Greater Chicago’s Daniel Burnham Fellowship. The fellowship is for C-Suite or senior-level executives who are new to their role or to Chicago, and want to integrate into the civic fabric of the city.
Latessa was named president of CBRE’s Midwest Division in 2017, and oversees operations from Chicago. He was previously an executive managing director in the Detroit market overseeing several Midwest offices.
“In recent years, Chicago has seen an increase of corporate headquarters locating to our city,” said LGC CEO Maria Wynne. “There is no better time than right now to expand civic leadership development in our region.”
CBRE has several professionals who have completed LGC’s Signature Fellows Program, including Jamie Georgas, senior managing director, Class of 2018; and Abe Gamboa, senior director project management, Class of 2019.
