CBRE’s Connelly to Lead Americas Advisory Services
Chicago-based Chris Connelly has been named CEO, advisory services, Americas at CBRE, effective immediately. Emma Buckland will be promoted to global president, property management, a position previously held by Connelly.
A 15-year veteran of CBRE, Connelly will lead a business encompassing more than 18,000 employees across the capital markets, advisory and transaction services, advisory project management, property management and valuations business lines in the U.S., Canada and Latin America. He has held numerous leadership roles at CBRE.
“Chris has successfully managed the full spectrum of our advisory services offering, and our business has thrived under his leadership,” said Mike Lafitte, Global CEO, advisory services. “He will help us take our Americas Advisory Services business to the next level of success.”
Buckland will directly lead the Americas property management business, and oversee a global business that manages a portfolio of more than 2.7 billion square feet.
