CBRE’s Bill Hill Joins Newmark in D.C. to Launch Federal Investor Group

William Hill has left his position at CBRE to join Newmark where he will launch the firm’s Federal Investor Services group in D.C. The group will represent property owners and investors seeking to lease to the federal government.

Hill’s new title at Newmark will be vice chairman. At CBRE, Hill was senior vice president and co-led the firm’s Federal Lessor Advisory Group. In his new role, Hill will collaborate with Newmark’s Capital Markets professionals to advise on the sale or purchase of properties with the federal government as the primary or sole occupant. In addition, Newmark is hiring a number of professionals for the new group.

“The federal leasing environment is primed for significant activity in the coming years, particularly as government agencies re-examine densification strategies to reconfigure their office footprints,” said Hill.
