CBRE to Lease Up Silverstein’s Flagship Fifth Ave. Retail

CBRE was tapped by Silverstein Properties to lease the retail at 529 Fifth Ave. Situated on the southeast corner of 44th Street, the flagship retail location spans 29,000 square feet across the building’s ground floor, lower level and mezzanine.

CBRE’s Gary Trock, Matt Chmielecki and Eric Gelber will lead the leasing efforts for the space. 529 Fifth will be available for possession in January 2021.

“Through planned renovations and a well-positioned corner location, we anticipate that 529 Fifth will create an attractive opportunity for retail tenants looking to expand their presence on Fifth Avenue,” said Silverstein Properties’ Jeremy Moss.

Trock added, “529 Fifth presents the ideal opportunity for brands seeking a premier flagship location in a thriving retail landscape. This space offers 200 feet of prime exposure on a desirable Fifth Avenue block, with incoming foot traffic from neighboring Grand Central Terminal, Rockefeller Center and Bryant Park.”

Connect New York 2020 is set to take place on Wednesday, April 29 at Upper Story by Charlie Palmer. For more information, or to register, click here.
