CBRE Tapped to Sell 18-Acre MXU Site in Miami

The City of Miami has selected CBRE’s Public Institutions and Education Solutions Group to sell an 18-acre mixed-use development site in the Allapattah area of Miami. The site is comprised of two square blocks bounded on the north by NW 20th Street, on the south by NW 19th Street, on the east by NW 12th Avenue, and the west by Northwest 14th Avenue.

The site is currently occupied by Miami GSA and several other City operations, which may consolidate to a smaller on-site footprint or relocate.

“The City of Miami recognizes the market demand in Allapattah, and is looking to attract a qualified investor/developer to this unique site with significant acreage and monetize this City-owned asset via a long-term ground lease,” said Chris Wood, first vice president at CBRE in Florida.
