CBRE Tapped to Manage, Lease Imperial Valley Mall

CBRE was selected to provide ongoing property management and leasing services for the Imperial Valley Mall, located at 3451 S. Dogwood Rd. in El Centro. Tryperion Holdings, Peak Financial Partners and Duke Real Estate acquired the 761,000-square-foot shopping center from CBL for $38.1 million earlier this month.

“We are extremely pleased to have been selected by Tryperion, Peak and Duke and work closely with them to carry out their compelling vision to elevate the shopping experience at Imperial Valley Mall,” said Todd Caruso, CBRE’s retail investor leader, Americas. CBRE’s Joe Yetter and John Stevens will handle the leasing of the property.

Additionally, the new owners acquired 65 acres of adjacent developable land through an affiliate. They intend to improve both the physical infrastructure of the mall and invest in facility operations, creating new programs that encourage visitors of all ages to shop, dine, and gather in the community space.
