CBRE Tapped to Lease 520K-SF Spec Industrial Facility in South Carolina

The Silverman Group has tapped CBRE to lease its 520,000-square-foot speculative industrial development currently under construction at 300 Trade Zone Blvd. in Summerville, S.C.

Located at the Foreign Trade Zone industrial park, site work on the facility will begin in September with plans to complete construction in the Spring of 2021. The cross-dock building will feature 36-foot clear heights, 76 dock doors, an ESFR sprinkler system, trailer parking for 120 and auto parking for 485 vehicles. CBRE’s Bob Barrineau and Brendan Redeyoff are spearheading leasing efforts on behalf of The Silverman Group.

“We’re very excited to extend CBRE’s relationship with The Silverman Group by marketing this premiere facility for lease,” said Barrineau. “This project will provide much needed big box space at a time when Charleston is receiving unprecedented interest as many companies seek to diversify or realign their supply chains. Charleston has incredible momentum with the recently announced three million square foot large retailer’s distribution center and the March 2021 opening of the South Carolina State Ports Authority’s new Hugh Leatherman terminal.”
