CBRE Tabs Edwards to Bolster the Firm’s MHC Platform

CBRE has hired manufacturing housing financing veteran Erik Edwards as Senior VP with the company’s Debt and Structured Finance Group in San Diego. Edwards will partner with Norm Sangalang to help building CBRE’s Manufactured Housing Communities (MHC) platform and provide financing for MHC investors and landlords.

Edwards has 21 years of experience in commercial real estate financing, most recently as a Director with Wells Fargo’s Multifamily Capital Finance Group where he led and participated in originating and closing more than $5 billion in loans on MHC throughout the U.S.

“We are extremely excited to welcome Erik to CBRE,” said the firm’s Executive Managing Director for San Diego and Hawaii, John Frager. “Erik is an unrivaled expert in the MHC sector and an incredible addition to our strong investment sales and debt & structured finance groups in San Diego.”

Edward received his bachelor’s degree in business economics from UCSB and an MBA from UC Irvine.
