CBRE Partners with National Cattle Congress for Revamp of Iowa Fair Grounds

CBRE announced it will partner with the National Cattle Congress in the coordination and planning process for the redevelopment of the historic National Cattle Congress grounds, a 50-plus acre site with over 228,000 square feet of event space in Waterloo.

The site will be redeveloped to modernize the existing fairgrounds and facilities while also offering new construction and land development opportunities throughout the site. The site is located at 257 Ansborough Avenue, and the National Cattle Congress hosts year-round events and activities at the grounds, which has a mixture of ten indoor and outdoor buildings.

CBRE’s Mike Macri III, CCIM, MRED, CRE, has been appointed the exclusive development consultant and sales and leasing agent on behalf of the National Cattle Congress. “We’re excited for the new attractions and updates to all of the historic facilities that will ensure the financial viability and mission of the National Cattle Congress for the next 100 years,” said Macri.
