CBRE Names Valuation Leader for Michigan

Brenda Makarov has been named managing director of valuation and advisory services for CBRE in Detroit. Her responsibilities at CBRE will involve oversight of all valuation operations in Michigan, including existing offices in Southfield, Grand Rapids and Lansing.

Makarov joins CBRE from Terzo and Bologna, a Midwest-based real estate consulting and appraisal firm, where she served as president. She also served as the director of the firm’s multifamily housing division, specializing in appraisal, market analysis, and feasibility analysis, as well as urban mixed-use developments.

“We are very fortunate to have someone with Brenda’s experience and skill set lead our operations in Michigan,” said Linas Norusis, senior managing director for CBRE. “She will be a wonderful fit for our culture, and we are confident that she will deliver excellent results for our clients.”
