CBRE Markets 60 Acres Within LI Industrial Park

CBRE is actively marketing 60 acres of divisible land in the Brookhaven Technology and Logistics Center, a 300-acre mixed use park in Shirley, NY. Chris Stack of CBRE’s Long Island office is overseeing sales and marketing for the property on behalf of the owner, Pennsylvania-based Pitcairn Properties.

The park and available land are situated off Exit 68 of the Long Island Expressway, affording direct access to both William Floyd Parkway and the LIE. It’s located just south of the Brookhaven National Laboratory, one the nation’s largest government laboratories.

“Given the enormous population growth and development on Long Island’s east end, the areas served by Exit 68 are seeing a heightened interest from companies that provide last-mile delivery services,” said Stack.

Zoning at the industrial park allows for a rail spur to be built. Luitpold Pharmaceuticals anchors the industrial park with over 300,000 square feet of space in three buildings.
