CBRE Marketing CPS Energy’s CRE Assets
CPS Energy, San Antonio’s municipally-owned gas and electric utility company, has hired CBRE to market multiple assets throughout the metro. CBRE’s John Alvarado, Jared Chua, Jennifer Joseph, Peter Jansen and Gene Williams are representing the sellers.
The utility company is interested in disposing of the properties, some of which are in designated opportunity zones, to optimize its portfolio. The sites offer diverse zoning for multiple uses, including office, multifamily, hotel, retail and general commercial. Bid dates will be announced shortly, with the deadline in July 2019.
The portfolio consists of:
- A 218,000 square-foot office building, 145 Navarro St.
- A 98,000 square-foot office building/parking deck, 146/134 Navarro St.
- A 25,000 square-foot retail/special use Villita Building, 401 Villita St.
- A 44,000-square-foot parking structure, 121 Navarro St.
- The 50,000 square-foot Tower Life Garage, 211 Villita St.
- A 50,000-square-foot office building, 7000 San Pedro Ave.
- A 3.5-acre development site, 326 Jones Ave.
