CBRE Makes the Grade as DCPS Representative in HQ Relo, Sale

Duval County Public Schools has selected CBRE as the exclusive agent for the relocation of the District’s administrative headquarters and sale of 1701 Prudential Drive in Jacksonville, as well as other owned assets.

CBRE’s Oliver Barakat, an office building specialist in Jacksonville, and Lee Ann Korst, southeast regional manager of CBRE’s Public Institutions and Education Solutions (PIES), will represent the district.

“The district recognizes its current waterfront location is a valuable asset and has made the decision to relocate off the river, which will position the property for new use and promote economic development,” said Korst. “The disposition of this asset supports the commitment made by the City of Jacksonville to revitalize downtown by providing prime real estate located directly on the St. Johns River.”
