CBRE Hotels’ Danko Will Oversee Institutional Sales

Industry veteran Ron Danko will undertake a new leadership role for CBRE Hotels, assuming overall responsibility for institutional investment sales in the hospitality sector. Based in CBRE’s Midtown Manhattan offices, Danko has been involved in more than 200 hotel transactions and close to $4 billion in volume across 28 states since 2015.

An EVP, Danko will work closely with Kevin Mallory, global head of CBRE Hotels, in developing and maintaining relationships with institutional owners of hotels, including lodging REITS, global private equity groups, sector funds, financial institutions, major foreign investors, lodging brands, and pension funds.

Danko, who joined CBRE with the 2003 acquisition of Insignia/ESG, will be responsible for leveraging CBRE Hotels’ various lines of business for the benefit of institutional clients, including property sales, debt and structured finance, advisory, valuation and research. He’ll also continue to serve his existing clients.
