CBRE Hires Michael Joyce as Vice Chairman in Boston
Michael Joyce has joined CBRE as vice chairman, the highest rank for Advisory & Transaction professionals within the company. Based in CBRE’s downtown Boston office, Joyce joins the urban leasing team and will focus on both investor and occupier leasing.
With over 25 years of experience in commercial real estate, Joyce was previously vice chair of Cushman & Wakefield’s Boston leasing practice. He worked at CBRE before co-founding the Richards Barry Joyce in 2001. The firm was acquired by Transwestern in 2013, where he remained as partner for five additional years.
“Mike is an office and industrial leasing powerhouse with strong relationships from his decades-long career. He will partner with our capital markets team to leverage those relationships while mentoring and growing our urban leasing team,” said Michael Affronti, executive managing director for CBRE’s Greater Boston Advisory Services business.
