CBRE Hires Martindale as Global Head of Retail Research

Meghann Martindale has joined CBRE as global head of retail research. She’s based in New York City.

Martindale will work closely with the company’s retail leaders and professionals to generate in-depth research and analysis. She also will coordinate CBRE’s global research on retail. Martindale succeeds Melina Cordero, who CBRE promoted in July to managing director of retail capital markets.

“Meghann is the perfect choice to continue CBRE’s analysis of consumer preferences, retail innovations, economic shifts and how each factor will shape retail real estate in the future,” said Anthony Buono, CBRE global president of retail. “Her broad and diverse experience will enrich the insights she delivers for CBRE professionals and clients.”

Martindale is returning to CBRE, where she was a leasing and sales associate in San Francisco from 2001 to 2006. Her career has included work as a consultant on international retail expansion strategies, asset stabilization, leasing, development and repositioning.
