CBRE Global Investors Fund Acquires Waterfront Tower in Emeryville
CBRE Strategic Partners U.S. Value 8 fund acquired 2100 Powell, a 16-story, 346,025-square-foot office tower in Emeryville, CA, from New York-based Blackstone for a reported roughly $171 million. The LEED Gold-certified waterfront property is 98% leased, and has a four-level parking garage.
“With its robust economic growth and a lower overall cost of living compared to San Francisco, the Oakland metro is a focus market for this fund,” said Robert Perry, Head of the CBRE Strategic Partners U.S. fund series.
The property is well-located along the East Bay waterfront with easy access to the I-80 Freeway, and offers panoramic views of the Oakland and San Francisco skylines as well as the San Francisco Bay.
Eastdil Secured was the listing agent for the sale.
