CBRE Global Investors Acquires Alpharetta City Center Project

CBRE Global Investors acquired the 26-acre Alpharetta City Center project on behalf of an undisclosed fund. The sales price was not disclosed.

The transaction includes the retail space at the project, as well as 168 apartment units developed by South City Partners. Additionally, the development includes City Hall, the Fulton County Library, seven acres of parks and DataScan’s corporate headquarters, as well as a single-family housing project from homebuilder Hedgewood. The center also connects to a proposed network of trails that would potentially link thousands of Alpharetta residents and workers along its route.

David Gutting and Margaret Caldwell of JLL represented the seller, Atlanta-based real estate firm Morris & Fellows, in the transaction.
