CBRE Debuts Office in Westfield UTC Retail Center

CBRE opened a new 33,000-square-foot office within Westfield UTC’s newly expanded and renovated 1.3-million-square-foot retail destination in San Diego. Located at the intersection of La Jolla Village Drive and Genesee Avenue, the new space will house 160 employees on one floor at 4301 La Jolla Village Dr.

The new office features a core focus on hospitality complete with a concierge staff and valet service.
With no assigned desks and a variety of collaborative workspaces, employees can choose to work at a desk, in a team huddle room or in the “Heart,” an entry, gathering and social space.

The move is part of CBRE’s global Workplace360 initiative, an approach designed to promote flexibility, mobility and productivity through technology-enabled, 100%-free address and paperless offices. The office joins more than 50 others around the world, including CBRE’s offices in downtown San Diego and Carlsbad.

CBRE’s Bill Bacon and Mike Hoeck represented CBRE in the transaction. The landlord, Westfield Group, was self-represented. CBRE was previously located on two floors at The Plaza at La Jolla Village.
