CBRE arranged the sale of the offices of the Boy Scouts of America’s Pathway to Adventure Council in Chicago's West Loop

CBRE Closes West Loop Office Sale for Boys Scouts of America

CBRE has arranged the sale of a 20,000-square-foot office building on 17,500 square feet of land in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood. The Boy Scouts of America’s Pathway to Adventure Council sold the property to Kensington School for an undisclosed sum.

CBRE’s Tom Svoboda and Phil DeBoer represented the seller. The property served as the Boy Scouts of America’s Pathway to Adventure Council’s Chicago headquarters since 1995. Located at 1218 W Adams, the building resides in one of the most sought-after submarkets in Chicago. Kensington School plans to redevelop the property.

Subsequently, Svoboda represented the Pathway to Adventure Council in the purchase of an 8,200-square-foot office suite at 1100 W Washington in the West Loop. A sale price was not disclosed.
