CBRE Chicago Raises $500K at Annual Charity Bash

The Chicago office of CBRE and the Chicago Cubs recently hosted the 12th Annual CBRE Charity Bash at Wrigley Field. The event raised $500,000, with all net proceeds benefiting numerous local charities.

This is the fourth year that CBRE and the Cubs have partnered on the initiative, which has raised a total of $1.85 million. “This partnership continues to bring incredible positive change to the Chicago community and deliver important resources to deserving charities,” said John Latessa, president of CBRE’s Midwest division.

More than 1,500 CBRE professionals, their clients, families and guests participated in this year’s event, along with Cubs manager Joe Maddon, as well as Cubs legends Ryan Dempster and David Ross.

This year’s event benefited CBRE Cares charities, along with the Jon Lester NVRQT Campaign for Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation, Joe Maddon’s Respect 90 Foundation, The Hamels Foundation, Kyle Schwarber’s Neighborhood Heroes Campaign, and Cubs Charities.
