CBRE Brought In as Co-leasing Agent on 77 Water St.

The William Kaufman Organization (WKO) and Principal Real Estate Investors have retained CBRE as co-leasing agent with Sage Realty Corporation for 77 Water St. WKO and Principal regained full control of the 600,000-square-foot office tower after a triple-net lease with Goldman Sachs converted to a gross lease last April.

CBRE’s Jonathan Cope, Adam R. Leshowitz and Nate Katz will work closely alongside Sage’s Michael Lenchner to identify, market and lease approximately 72,000 square feet of downtown office space to prospective tenants. The team is marketing four brand-new pre-built office suites on the building’s 24th floor.

“The property combines a variety of space sizes to accommodate tenants in the market today, offers hands-on ownership and top-line management,” said Cope. “In addition, the pre-built units will be some of the most high-end spaces in the neighborhood.”

Lenchner said CBRE’s “deep expertise with downtown office space is perfectly matched for this assignment.”
