CBRE has arranged the sale of two medical office buildings on the campus of Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Fayetteville, GA. Totaling 192,363 sq. ft., the portfolio of buildings was acquired by a joint venture between Remedy Medical Properties and Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors L.P.

Lee Asher, Zack Holderman, Jordan Selbiger, Trent Jemmett and Cole Reethof of CBRE’s U.S. Healthcare & Life Sciences Capital Markets practice represented the seller, Piedmont Healthcare, in the transaction.

“This transaction is a clear indication of the belief that healthcare investors have in medical facilities anchored by market-leading health systems in growing metropolitan areas,” said Mr. Asher, Vice Chairman with CBRE.

Piedmont Healthcare occupies 63 percent of the portfolio and recently signed new 15-year leases at both buildings. Services include surgery, orthopaedics, oncology, cardiology, and pulmonary/critical care. The two buildings are currently 97-percent leased with a roster of physician groups.
